The Dead Center Fairing is built to function flawlessly and engineered to last. The audio is strong and clear. The stereo is easy to use without tiny buttons and the need for expensive thumb controls. It won't develop cracks like some plastic fairings or bubbles due to hidden air pockets. You don't have to unplug it when you turn off your bike in order to avoid draining the battery. Water won't be deflected up under your stereo shorting it out. Screws won't rust. Other fairings say they are quick-detach, but require tools to remove them. Ours does not*. It locks to the bike*. It is easily serviceable and easily expandable with accessories.
