The Dead Center Fairing fits the following models:

HARLEY DAVIDSON Road King Standard, Classic and Custom

HARLEY DAVIDSON Heritage Softail, Deluxe and Fat Boy

YAMAHA Road Star and Road Star Silverado

VICTORY Vegas, Kingpin and Hammer

1994+ Harley Davidson FLHR Road King, including the Road King Standard (FLHR), Road King Classic (FLHRC) and Road King Custom (FLHRS)

Note: Road King Custom (FLHRS) models require the factory quick detach windshield mounting kit, removal of the chrome air deflector and the chrome trim strip on top of the nacelle (they must be replaced with the Road King Standard style handlebar cover HD p/n 67866-03 and chrome nacelle chrome trim HD p/n 67868-03). The turn signals on Road King Custom (FLHRS) models must also be relocated because in the factory location on the handlebars they will be hidden behind the fairing. One solution is to mount the Auxiliarly Lighting Kit (HD p/n 69289-05) with turn signals mounted below the passing lamps. Another is the HD Custom Touring Front Bullet Turn Signal Kit (HD p/n 69577-06).

2000+ Harley Davidson Twin Cam FL front-end Softail models including Heritage Softail Classic (FLSTC), Softail Deluxe (FLSTN), 2006 Heritage Softail (FLST) and Fat Boy (FLSTF) models.

Note: Fat Boy (FLSTF) and 2006 Heritage Softail (FLST) models require either an Auxiliary Lighting Kit (HD p/n 69287-05) or a Windshield Adaptor Kit (HD p/n 58270-02). A quick-detach windshield mounting kit is also required. All Fat Boy (FLSTF) and Heritage Softail (FLST) models require relocation of the turn signals such as below the passing lamps, because in the factory location on the handlebars they will be hidden behind the fairing.

Note: Deluxe (FLSTN) models require a quick-detach windshield mounting kit.

Note: The fairing will also fit 1999 and older FL front-end Softail models but due to the rigid mounted non-counterbalanced Evo engine the CD player may skip - we have not yet tried this with our new for 2008 Jensen stereo. The Jensen stereo has a read-ahead memory buffer, so skipping is eliminated for most models, but if skipping were to occur internally for a very extended period of time (around 30+ seconds) then you would hear audible skipping, so we do not guarantee that CD's will work without skipping on these models. Also, due to thicker passing lamp brackets used on some earlier evo models, the customer may need to eliminate any washers between the lower quick-detach windshield mounts and the passing lamps and the fairing may not attach/detach as smoothly on these models, as on the later models. This is not a problem if such an older passing lamp bracket is replaced with the latest FLSTC passing lamp bracket.

1999+ Yamaha Road Star models including Road Star, Midnight, Silverado, Midnight Silverado, Silver Edition and Silverado Silver Edition models. This is a bolt-on style fairing, in the same manner as the factory windshield, and is NOT quick detach and does NOT lock to the motorcycle.

Note: Requires the factory windshield mounting kit. If not previously installed on the motorcycle this can be ordered from Yamaha and is part number STR-4WM03-40-00.

Note: The toggle switch that turns on the auxiliary lamps is located on the back left side of the right lamp and will hit the fairing when installed. The right and left lamps must be swapped or the switch relocated in order for the Dead Center Fairing to fit without interference.

Victory Hammer, Vegas and Kingpin (including 8-ball and Jackpot) models. This is a bolt-on style fairing utilizing billet clamps (included) that go around the front forks. This model is NOT quick detach and does NOT lock to the motorcycle.

Note: Requires that the factory speedometer, or speedometer and tachometer (Hammer) be relocated to the fairing. Kit includes spacer ring for the speedometer on Vegas and Kingpin.
